About me

Hello there and welcome.

Thank you for dropping by my gaming blog. My name is Pieterjan Deneys and I live in Aalst, Belgium. Since Aalst is in Flanders, this means that English isn’t my first language. It’s Dutch, so apologies if you find mistakes. Oh, and if you wonder… Besides English, I know a bit of French and a tiny bit of German as well.

Before I ramble too much about that, let’s talk about the things that you actually expect on an “about me” page. I was born on February 7th 1993. Since childhood, I have been obsessed with anything game related. I have been playing games since as long as I remember.

Now, I do things outside playing games and writing this blog. I work as an IT admin & platform manager for two big art schools in Ghent. I also translate WordPress into my native language and help test/develop the project. Furthermore, I’m also a part of a local old theater group which preforms several plays yearly. A big theme in my life is art. I love the art of words & theater.

I’m also a game collector: I collect games that I want to play or that I find interesting. A great example is because I work in education, I collect edutainment games. In my eyes, I’m open to give each game a chance. You never know which experience you are going to have, and you might find a diamond in the rough. I just love playing games and having enjoyable experiences.

That’s also why I’m open to any developers sending me their game to review. I honestly don’t really care if you made a small 1-hour game by yourself or if a big team created a 120+ hour game. If it looks like fun, I’ll give it a shot. Are you a developer or part of a studio, and you want me to look at your game? Well, go on over to my contact page!

I really hope that I can make you laugh, inform you of the items you want to know or entertain you. Whatever it is, I hope you enjoy your stay here. Feel free to explore this place. I love to write and update it so, maybe a click on that follow button would be nice.

Since, this blog is just my personal place where I write and talk about the games I think deserve a time in the spotlight. From oldschool to modern games, I play everything. Just take a look at my overview page, and you’ll understand that I play all sorts of games.

You might notice that, that is a long page. I have been writing this blog since 2013. Yet, I started blogging in 2010. But, that was a personal blog in my native language that I decided to scrap and start fresh. Since 2013, I have been enjoying the ride so much. From meeting new people to interacting with you, the visitors… It’s all a blast. Writing this blog is one of the best hobbies I have in my opinion.

Anyway, before I wrote something close to a novel here… I think I’ll leave it here. If you want to talk to me or have questions, feedback, or something else; one place, my contact page!

Anyway, thanks for reading, and hopefully I see you around. Take care and have an awesome day~
